REO CPALE Review Program

Maria Carmela L. San Juan

Oct 2025 CPALE Passer

Try. Try it again—this way. I wanted to try again—and to try it this way: Try to have discipline. Try to focus. Try to understand the concepts. Try to answer as many quizzers as I can. Try to enjoy studying. Try to be ready before the actual board exam. This was my second take of the CPALE—from a failed examinee in October 2022 to a CPALE passer in October 2025. Back then, I hadn’t finished the coverage. I knew I lacked practice with quizzers, monthly assessments, and concept recall. This time, I changed my strategy. I attended all the live lecture classes to make sure I completed the coverage. Before each class, I tried answering the handouts, reading concept notes, and watching quick videos. I repeated this routine until week 18. I also answered preboards to test my endurance and attended the preweek for final recall. I even read summarized notes from other reviewees. Once again, I tried to take the CPALE. As advised by our Tax and RFBT reviewer, Atty. Tamayao: “Finish it strong and believe that you are capable of it.” So I did. I tried it this way—finishing strong and believing in myself that I'm capable of it. Then the results came: I’m one of the October 2025 CPALE passers. I tried again, and this time, it worked. I’d like to thank the entire REO team, especially my live lecture reviewers. Thank you for guiding us through this journey. You provided an excellent review experience—the quick videos and live lectures were a perfect combination on my part. Thank you to all the dedicated and passionate reviewers. Thank you so much. To those who didn’t make it this time: just try. Try again. Try it your own way. Keep trying until you get that license.
